What this site collects, in plain language.
Short version: analytics on how pages are used, and whatever you type into the contact form. Nothing sold, nothing shared with advertisers.

Information you give me
If you submit the contact form, I receive the fields you filled in — name, agency, WhatsApp number, email, areas you work, whether you accept referrals, and your message — plus the page you submitted from and a timestamp. These are stored in a private spreadsheet that only I have access to, and used for one purpose: to reply to you about a referral partnership.
If you message me on WhatsApp, that conversation lives in WhatsApp under Meta's own terms, and in my phone. I keep broker conversations so I can remember what we agreed.
Information collected automatically
This site uses Google Analytics to understand which pages get read and which links get clicked. That involves cookies and a truncated record of your device, browser, approximate location, and the pages you viewed. It's aggregate — I use it to decide what to write next, not to identify you.
Interactions recorded include WhatsApp button clicks and contact-form submissions. If you'd rather not be counted, browser-level tracking blockers work fine here and nothing on the site breaks without them.
What I don't do
- I don't sell, rent, or trade your information to anyone.
- I don't run advertising on this site, and there are no ad-network trackers.
- I don't add you to a mailing list from a contact-form submission.
- I don't pass broker contact details to other brokers.
Who else sees it
Two service providers process data on my behalf: Google (Analytics, and the spreadsheet where form submissions are stored) and Meta (WhatsApp, if you use it to reach me). Nobody else receives your details in the ordinary course of business. I would disclose information if legally compelled to, and I'd tell you unless prohibited from doing so.
Buyer and renter referrals
This particular site is for brokers, so it doesn't collect buyer information. On the consumer sites in the network, when a reader asks to be introduced to a broker, I share the details they've given me with that one broker so the introduction can happen. Readers are told this before they submit, and the referral arrangement is disclosed on the page.
How long it's kept
Contact-form entries are kept while a partnership conversation is live and for a reasonable period afterwards in case it restarts. Analytics data follows Google's own retention settings. Ask me to delete your record and I'll do it.
Your choices
Email andy@scotheo.com and ask to see, correct, or delete what I hold about you. Colombian law (Ley 1581 de 2012 and its decrees) gives data subjects these rights, and if you're in the EU or UK the GDPR gives you equivalent ones. I'll act on the request regardless of where you're writing from — it's a small enough operation that there's no reason to make it complicated.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, the date at the top changes with it.
